Taking Manifesto for Action to the next level
London, UK – 15th August 2024 – ChurchGOers, a pioneering digital platform, is excited to announce the launch of its Digital Academy, marking another significant step towards implementing the vision detailed in the 2nd edition of the National Church Leaders Forum (NCLF) Manifesto for Action.
The NCLF Manifesto, widely endorsed by church leaders, policymakers, and the public, identifies eleven core areas for community churches to address. ChurchGOers is committed to transforming the recommendations in each area into tangible actions, beginning with a comprehensive focus on digital ministry.
The platform now offers a comprehensive suite of tools and resources designed to empower churches to thrive in the digital age. Key features include:
Digital Academy: Providing online and in-person courses, training and mentorship in digital technology, online evangelism and entrepreneurship.
Faith Network: Connecting members of faith via chat, polls and messaging on a national scale with groups, forums, articles and integration with EventsGOers app.
Blueprint Library: A knowledge-base of blueprints, tips and best practices for digital ministry including cyber-security, GDPR compliance and online growth.
Multi-Directory App: Connecting churches and their community services with their constituency through a powerful mobile app.
Partnering with academia, technology and local authorities, ChurchGOers empowers churches and members to create a lasting community impact.
Testimonies
“We want to be a relevant, relational church in our communities,” said Bishop Claion Grandison, National Overseer at NTCG UK. “So, it’s about making intentional connections, meaningful connections with the communities that we’re situated in.”
“We believe that digital ministry is no longer an option but a necessity in hybrid churches,” said Bishop Dr Joe Aldred, Director at NCLF. “ChurchGOers was commissioned to empower our church leaders to embrace technology and grow their congregations and communities.”
“ChurchGOers is by far the largest undertaking in the church since the pandemic and the widespread adoption of web meetings and live-streaming,” said Paul Johnson, Founder of ChurchGOers. “Our platform is designed to empower church leaders to embrace technology, create more meaningful digital connections and build thriving communities.”
